REIKI
REIKI is a gentle intuitive method that enables us to send life force energy into ourselves, someone else, or animals even. It is a solid healing modality that falls under both energy work and vibrational medicine, addressing the root cause (the origin) of one's unwanted mental, emotional, physical, and energetic experiences, while bringing much needed relief to the physical experience.
Reiki is specifically, the sending of a high vibrational frequency / energy, Grace, through the practitioner into whom or what it is directed, bringing healing, alignment, relaxation, clarity, safety, and peace throughout one's systems.
Reiki brings a continuous flow of high vibrational energy frequencies through the giver into the receiver, bringing both into a higher vibrational locale. At a higher vibration, we experience life differently, and what is of a lower vibration either moves up into harmony or drops out. Reiki helps us move into "what we are" while assisting us in letting go of "what we are not." This is true Healing.
Reiki is a complete chain modality in that it brings healing for the giver and the receiver alike.

Reiki is a Japanese word that means life force energy.
Specifically, it means life force energy from on high, of a high vibrational frequency that naturally brings everything that receives it into harmony, back into balance, to its original design, perfection.
The word REIKI is made up of two words, RE (Grace/Source/God Wisdom, Limitless) and KI (Life Force Energy). Here is the exact definition of the word REIKI: KI(life force energy)of(Limitless Grace/Source/Light Frequency)REI.
The word REIKI describes what it is and what it does/ sends.
Together, the term refers to an alternative energy healing modality developed in Japan in the 1920s by Mikao Usui, where practitioners channel this life force energy (REIKI), to promote healing, relaxation, balance and alignment.
Keep in mind, Reiki is An Energy That Is Of Source, therefore it has always been and will always be available to you. Mikao Usui created and gifted us a process to easily access this energy through the receiving of an important attunement for all practitioners, and system of various hand positions to administer this sacred high vibrational energy.
Reiki flows to where one's hands are placed (laying of the hands) or directed. Reiki is a more current name for it. Like all energy work / energy healing modalities, it dates back over 35000 years.
What does a Reiki session feel like?
What should one expect to experience?
A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you, leaving the receiver of Reiki quite relaxed, sleepy even, calm, moving them into a deep state of peace. Many express a clear knowing that a part of them or the "all of what they are" is receiving in a way that they never experienced before and "very much needed."
Keep in mind, everyone is different and each person's experience may vary. These are just some experiences people often share when describing their Reiki session.
Reiki treats the whole person not only the area of need or discomfort or pain but the entire body including the emotional, mental, and energetic aspects of our being. This is where the origin of what is experienced IS.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of energy healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
It can be learned by an adult or a child.
It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady, always creating a beneficial effect.
Personally, over the last 25 years, I have used Reiki and find it to be a vital part of all aspects of the healing work I do. Reiki works extremely well in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques, making Reiki an incredible compliment to a person's growth, safety, rehabilitation, physical therapy or personal training sessions.
Reiki brilliantly supports and promotes recovery. Clients look forward to the Reiki segment of their sessions. I know this first hand administering Reiki as a personal trainer / rehab specialist, and as a receiver of Reiki.
Why I teach Reiki:
Outside of all the reasons listed above, I teach Reiki because it does so much for so many. It lights you up when you can bring someone into a different state, a different experience, an experience they prefer and that is obviously good for them, that brings them peace and support, and walks them out of fear, out of pain, and very often out of an illness. Reiki lights them up too, and that lights you up even more!
Is Reiki hard to learn?
Reiki is an intuitive energy modality that is simple to learn and simple to use.
How is it taught?
The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki Training. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki Master. This attunement enables the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "Life Force Energy" more fully.
Reiki does what exactly?
Reiki does many things, but if I had to pick one, it would be that it opens the way to whatever experience you want in a way that holds the most love for you. It greatly improves one's health and enhances the quality of life for self and others. Yes that was two things. Hey, Reiki does a lot!
Is Reiki dependent on what I believe or how I feel?
Reiki and its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development, nor does one need to be in a lofty state to give or receive Reiki. Reiki is available to everyone, all the time. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds, and religious beliefs.
While Reiki is an energy modality, meaning, it is science based, and works by sending high vibrational frequencies, it is also spiritual in nature by elevating the consciousness of both the giver and the receiver.
Reiki is not a religion. It has nothing to do with religion and has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. Again, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not because Reiki comes from the limitless supply of energy that is always present, always around us, always available to us - The All of Life, Source.
Interestingly, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it. That is Beautiful! They get to feel the presence of Source and what they are, leading them to Oneness.
In Oneness, we know what we are and where we want to be, what feels right, what holds the most love for us, and we move in that direction. That is a Life of jOy! That's what we want for each other, for everyone. Reiki helps us achieve that.
